Field-Ready and Built for the Mountains

"This Spartan Precision Equipment Springbok system is a beautifully made, very lightweight piece of kit that is absolutely worthy of the backcountry. It is incredibly fast to deploy in unpredictable terrain and stays steady when seated and braced correctly. An outstanding companion for challenging hunts. Ultralight & Agile: Highly portable, perfect for carrying on long treks up into the coastal mountains. Rapid Deployment: Instantly adaptable when moments count, allowing for quick setup in uneven or steep goat country. MagnaSwitch System: Snaps onto your rifle securely and smoothly, ensuring no precious time is wasted fumbling with buttons or locks."

Stellar so far

"This is a great bipod so far. Have only had it a few weeks and inly used it on 3 occassions. It excells when sitting (on a snall chair or ground) but wirks just as well kneeling and can work prone with a little finangling to get legs wide enough though i also bought the shorter one which i use prone or from a bench. I bought this to use hunting as i enjoy still hunting and think this will be great for that. Dropping to a knee when spotting sonething or even better when posting up in a good looking spot and sutting down. The ease of putting it on/off is excellent, it seems fairly secure while attached, and is steady in use. Contemplating a tripod for blind usage or if i ever do another hunt out west (i hunt eastern woodlands where ranges are generally short due to vegetation). Tldr: 5 stars, excells at what its designed to do."

Simple but effective

"I just tried this bipod at the range from a kneeling and sitting position. The adjustable legs are perfect for major adjustments and the springloaded head is perfect for minor adjustments once you are in position. Super light but stable. Perfect complement to my Javelin bipod if I need to shoot above taller grass or bushes. Looking forward to taking it to Alaska on a caribou hunt."

Worked good for turkey hunting

"The springbok pod worked well on a 20 gauge turkey shotgun from a Nukem regular size ground blind. My 12 yo son was very stable and liked he could sit with the gun in position while waiting for the turkeys to come to the decoys. The gobbler adapter was nicely machined but loosened some with the normal side-to-side movement of the bipod on positioning the legs to the ground."

Flexability

"I was able to follow moving deer but still have stability."

Rock steady

"I’ve had my SpringBok bipod for a few weeks now, and I absolutely love it. It’s had some range time as well as proved more than useful in a couple of stalking outings. The only thing that could improve this slightly, would be some form of retaining clip/ strap to hold the feet together when not in use."

Great for kids and mobile hunting

"I got the sprinbok to help my young kids hunt because they are not strong enough to hold the rifle and its not bulky like a tripod. I find it great also for mobile hunting without adding much weight and very stable."

Extremely handy bipod in tight and quickly developing hunting situations.

"This will be a lengthy review due to the modifications required for any shotgun that uses a speed nut on the inside of the magazine cap to retain the sling swivel stud. The shotgun adapter permits the quick attachment/removal of the bipod in any situation. Two things need to be used at this point on almost all shotgun magazine caps I encountered (see attached pictures of a 12 ga. Mossberg 940 Pro Turkey gun). Number 26 shows two washers. The larger hole washer is for the adapter and is furnished with a kit. The other washer is required for a tight fit of the adapter to the magazine cap. The diameter of the hole on the smaller washer matches the diameter of the sling swivel stud. The kit will not let you screw down the knurled nut far enough to prevent excessive play in the adapter without the additional washer. You'll see both washers installed in picture 51. You must epoxy the speed nut to the stud without applying too much epoxy, so the stud can enter the hole in the magazine retention cap during reinstallation of the cap assembly. Failure to epoxy the washer to the stud will cause the speed nut to back off the stud in normal use. See picture 44. All other adapters (Picatinny and MLok) work fine without any issues. Spartan is aware of the issues and is working to determine what it can do to rectify them. The fixes are simple, and I've done the dirty work to set you up for success."

Springbok Review

"Excellent bipod particularly useful for sitting/kneeling positions, seeing over brushy areas common to the Pacific NW. The easy, rapid adjustability up/down and traversing is excellent. Lightweight, flexible, detachable and rugged. Highly recommend."
