Davros Pro Head™ Gen 2

I’m using this to mount my spotting scope and binocs on a Spartan C clamp window mount for spot and stalk hunts and on my tripod. I could also use it to mount my rifles on my tripods and trigger sticks. I think it’s well worth the investment.

I love all things Spartan Precision… except for this.
It is well made but for the weight and price, it performs pretty much the same as my regular davros head. I bought it for putting my spotter on my tripod but I’m really not happy with it, I should have just bought a pan head.

Love the simplistic design of this tripod head. Have yet to actually shoot with this setup but have mounted my rifle on it several times and is a solid design. Small profile and not bulky by any means, holds my rifle easily. Love their product, made me a believer! You won’t regret purchasing this setup.

This is a tremendous tool that I used with my rifle during elk season. It actually held my rifle in place on my tripod without additional support. The high quality head allowed me to move the rifle in any direction smoothly so I could make the perfect shot. I have the binocular adapter as well so I'm looking forward to using the system with my Mavin 18X56 Bino's this spring during shed season!

So far I love this head for shooting or glassing with Binos or spotting scopes. Very smooth once you find the correct tension for the application you are using

I have used the davros head in the field extensively and love it. So far the pro head looks to be a solid upgrade.

works well for bino and rifle. Not as stable as a dedicated pan head on spotter

I now have both the regular davros head and the davros pro. The davros pro is more adjustable and more stable for your rifle or spotter. Spartan equipment is proving to be a great gear upgrade.

I tried to get away with the regular Davros Head, and it was ok for a while, but this head is amazing - the control and movement and function are all terrific. It's worth the cost.

This is a great product. Highly portable, well built, can fit on multiple size tripods by removing screw on bottom. Interchangeable between binoculars and rifle adapter...highly recommend.

Really like this system and the versatility.

I have the first Gen and use it for mounting my spotting scope and binos to a primos tripod. Works great.

Perfectly machined, my only concern is there is no mechanism to lock the (Heavy optic adapter) to the Davros Pro head. This becomes problematic when the wind is excessive or the hunter inadvertently bumps the spotter. A small thumb screw to lock the adapter to the magnet would have been a reasonable compromise. Other than the above noted discrepancy, I’m happy with my purchase.

The first version of the Davros head was impressive. The new Davros Pro Head is truly an amazing piece of kit!!

Great lightweight option. Does anything you could ask for outside of having a big, heavy fluid head. Locks down nice and tight, and the pan function is smooth as butter.

The Davros Pro Head is an incredible tool for any hunter, shooter, or photographer’s arsenal. This thing is rock solid and has tons of applications. Great for stand hunting and self filming scenarios.

Great product! Very smooth operation as well as very strong locking mechanism to hold optics or firearms very steady.

I loved the original Davros, and now I am extremely pleased Mr G and his team came out with the Gen 2. Very impressed!

I love the quick attach and how secure and stable my rifle is. Perfect for shooting off of my tripod. Prior I had to either tighten a lever or leave a big bulky saddle on my rifle.

Way better functionality over the Gen 1 version. I had and used the Gen 1 but it definitely had it’s flaws with the adjustment knobs. The Gen 2 has fixed all of those issues and now it’s near perfect. Highly recommend.

I love the new adjustment knobs. They are easier to lock tight and very easy to fine tune.

This head is nothing short of amazing. Very smooth, excellent range of motion, lightweight, and rock solid. Pair this with the Binocular Adapter and/or Heavy-Duty Optics Adapter and you have a perfect platform for all your optics. I cannot overstate how much I love this new tripod head.

Tough head that allows for precision shooting from a tripod

Such a great product and design. Served me better than I had hoped on a southwest Texas Aoudad hunt. Was able to glass with ease and then made for a quick and efficient transition to a 500 yard sitting position shot. Couldn’t be happier! Will be recommending to anybody that is asking.
