Verdict: While beautifully made, it fails at the most critical task of a tripod setup: keeping the rifle rock-steady. The inability to mechanically lock the system makes it frustrating for precision shooting and hunting at range."

"I am happy with the quality of the adapter with only one issue. I use RRS tripods and mounting accessories. They use a locking pin to keep the attachment from walking forward or backward. I wish that the adapter had the locking hole machined into the bottom of the adapter to do the same. I will machine the holes, but it would have saved time to have them already in the adapter. But, the adapter is well made."
